Dr. Spokane was born and raised in Western Pennsylvania. He attended Gateway High School in Monroeville, PA, where he graduated with high honors. He currently resides in Beaver, PA.
He has three wonderful daughters–Alexa, Karissa, and Julia. Alexa is currently attending a graduate program in Orthodontics at Seton Hill University. Karissa will follow in his footsteps by attending dental school. His youngest daughter, Julia, will attend Duquesne Law School.
As a University of Pittsburgh alumni, Dr. Spokane enjoys attending Pitt sports events. He also loves cheering on the Pittsburgh Penguins and Pittsburgh Steelers.

He attended The University of Pittsburgh for his undergraduate education. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Chemistry major and Mathematics minor.
Dr. Spokane attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, earning his DMD degree.
For his certificate in orthodontics, Dr. Spokane attended West Virginia University School of Dentistry.
Dr. Spokane also received his Masters of Science degree from the West Virginia University School of Dentistry.
He is a graduate of the Arnett Facial Reconstruction Course in Santa Barbara for Orthodontists and Oral Surgeons.
Dr. Spokane helps others pursue continuing education as the AGD Pace Provider liaison for BVDS, LCDS and The Event. He’s also the founder and coordinator of The Event for Higher Dental Education.
